World’s First Smartphone Lenovo Phab Pro 2 is set to Launch in November

Lenovo made world’s first tango smartphone, which was set to release in September. However, the device didn’t see the light of the day due to the anonymous reasons. The manufacturer delayed release of the device.

The Lenovo Phab Pro 2 was announced in July at Lenovo Tech World. Now Clay Bavor, head of VR at Google confirmed that the Lenovo Phab 2 Pro will hit stores till November. It is Lenovo’s first smartphone, which is developed in alliance with Google; it uses Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality to sense map surroundings. The smartphone is intellectual enough to recognize the size of the room you are in.


The Project Tango (renamed as Tango) is anticipated to alter how we interrelate with gaming, e-commerce, and education. The Lenovo Phab 2 Pro features include a camera setup that provides motion tracking, area learning, and depth perception. It would be capable to handle amplified reality application such as search, navigation, and gaming.


The Lenovo Phab Pro 2 features 6.4 inch QHD display, 4GB or RAM, and powered by Snapdragon 652. The company will introduce four cameras in the device, a 16-megapixel rear RGB camera, an 8-megapixel front camera, motion tracking camera, and a depth-sensing infrared camera with an image and an emitter. The smartphone has a 4050mAh battery and it is anticipated to carry a $499 price tag.
