Apple Exceeds Samsung in Holiday Samrtphones and Tablets Sales

As per a study, Samsung and Apple are competing each other in Christmas sales. Yahoo's Flurry Analytics analyzed a number of smartphones and tablets activated during 19 December to 25 December. Samsung and Apple both are leading in sale figures; however, Samsung saw a slight increase in sales, while Apple’s share is decreased.

In 2016, 44 percent Apple smartphones and tablets were activated, while the figure was 49.1 percent in 2015, and 51.3 in 2014. At the same time, last year Samsung’s activated devices were 19.8 percent and this year the figure is 21 percent.

Samsung is behind in sales from Apple because the company faced Galaxy Note 7 failure issue and many customers switched to other companies. Meanwhile, Google is also struggling to raise its sales, but it has to work hard if it wants to compete Apple or Samsung.

Apple has not revealed official figures of sales in the holiday season; however Tim Cook said that it was a great holiday period. On the tenth anniversary, Apple will release iPhone 8, the device is expected to be a flagship killer in the company’s portfolio.

Next iPhone 8 is rumored to feature Dual SIMs so you can use two numbers at the same time. For security enhancement, the device reportedly could come with an iris scanner. Moreover, Apple’s AirPods are creating battery problem, many users have claimed that the battery doesn’t last for long hours.
