Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus SIM-Free Available in the US

Apple launched iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus on September 7 and both devices were officially available for sale on 14 September. It’s been a month since the company and its global partners are officially selling the latest flagship. Now the manufacturer has started selling both smartphones as SIM-free/contract-free in the US.

Interested customers in the US can now buy the SIM-free iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus from online stores and physical outlets. Till the date, customers were only able to buy the smartphones via four network carriers such as AT&T, Sprint, Verizon, and T-Mobile.


Apple usually releases contract-free flagship at the end of every year, but this time the devices are available before than normal availability. Prices of both handsets stay same; the iPhone 7 is available for $649, while iPhone 7 Plus comes with a $749 price tag.


We have a bad new for those customers who want to buy unlocked Jet Black iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. The color is limited in supply and it won’t be available till two months. The iPhone 7 jet black will take 4 to 5 weeks to hit Apple Stores while iPhone 7 Plus will be on stores’ shelves after 7 to 8 weeks. Whereas, all other colors of iPhone 7 will be debuted immediately and the iPhone 7 Plus supply is short in rest colors as well. It will be available after 3 to 4weeks.


Moreover, Apple is planning to open another research and development center in Shenzen, China. The company wants to compete its Android rivals Huawei and ZTE, it also aims to boost its sales in the country.
