BlackBerry Hamburg Spotted on GFXBench Reveals Specifications

As we formerly reported, BlackBerry is completely jumping to Android devices so the company is anticipated to release two mid-rangers devices in 2016. The renders say that both devices will come by the end of the year and they will be priced around $400.

A new smartphone Blackberry Hamburg is spotted on GFXBench mark, thus it is confirmed that the Blackberry is working on a novel Android handset. The benchmark website revealed the specifications of the smartphone, as per leaked specifications, the device will feature a 5.2-inch display with 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution. It will be powered by Snapdragon 615 chipset with octa-core 1.5GHz CPU, and the Adreno 405 GPU.

The smartphone is expected to own 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The Blackberry Hamburg will sport a 12MP rear camera with an 8MP front facing camera. It will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. Back in September 2015, the firm launched its first Android device which features keyboard and touch screen; however, we heard that upcoming device will be a full touch model, means it won’t have the iconic BlackBerry keyboard.  However, there are no official words about the smartphone so take it as a pinch of salt.

BlackBerry’s first Android powered device BlackBerry Priv didn’t do as well as expected; now it seems that company is testing its luck once again in the Android mobile world. According to a few renders, the company will also launch a Rome model this year, but unfortunately the information is inadequate. When it comes to the design, the Hamburg’s design look like BlackBerry Z30, which was released back in 2013. We expect that Hamburg model will hit the market in November and it will be priced around $300 and $400.
