Moto X(2017) Spotted in Live Pictures Support Metal Body

Several rumors hinted that Lenovo has replaced Moto X series with Moto Z series, but the company stated that the Moto X series is “alive and well”. Now some live images of a Moto device leaked online, hint that it would be Moto X (2017) and other rumors suggest that it could be a new Moto Z series device.

 

Slashleaks leaked images, exhibit supposed Moto X (2017) smartphone with a metal body, and encircling camera board that seems quite similar to that on Moto Z.  Amusingly the gadget in the revealed pictures does not have any badge at the bottom-back of the smartphone, which can allow the prop up for Moto Mods. The device has a home button with a fingerprint scanner.


Considering that Lenovo has made clear previously this year that its upcoming Moto Z flagship smartphones will come with support for attachable mods, it seems improbable that the device in leaked pictures is from Moto Z series. Previously this month, some other pictures of the supposed Moto X (2017) devices were leaked by techdroider, which also showcased a alike encircling camera panel at the back of the smartphone.


The device is expected to come in Silver and Gold color options. Unfortunately, there is no information regarding the device availability and pricing information.The Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus specifications also leaked online.
