Official Render of Huawei Mate 9 Leaks ahead of its Launch

Chinese company Huawei’s forthcoming smartphone, the Mate 9 is probably to be launched next month. The manufacturer confirmed a launch event which will held on November 3, though the company didn’t mention the name of Mate 9.

The information about the Huawei Mate 9 is coming from different sources so we expect the launch event is very close.  In the latest leak, EvenBlass posted an official render of the Mate 9 that gives us a better thought of how the design of the device will look like.

We are not certain how many colors of the Huawei Mate 9 will launch, but a recently leaked picture shows a pink model. Some renders suggest that the smartphone will come in nine different colors such as amber gold, ceramic white, amber gray, mocha gold, silver, pink gold, champagne gold, shiny black and sky gray.

The leaked picture shows dual camera sensors on the back side of Huawei Mate 9. The fingerprint scanner is also placed below the camera setup. The device will pack Leica made Dual rear camera, one would be 21MP while the second one will be 16MP, according to rumors. On the left of the camera a dual LED flash is also placed.

Instead of dropping the 3.5mm jack, Huawei located it on the top of the smartphone. The leaked picture shows Type-C port along on the right side of the phone along with one of the speakers. The smartphone will be powered by octa-core Kirin 960 chipset so it is supposed to be faster than the previous model.

Preliminary rumors hint that the Mate 9 will pack a large 5.9-inch display that supports either full HD (1080p) or Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution. There is a speculation that Mate 9 will come in two variants, one will feature 4GB RAM and flat screen while the second one will feature 6GB RAM and curved display. The launch event is around the corner, stay tuned for more updates.
