Xiaomi Launches Xiaomi Redmi 3s Plus in India as Its First Offline only Device

Xiaomi launched its Redmi 3s Plus in September in India. The smartphone was officially launched in China last month. It is the company’s first offline retail-only phone for the Indian market.

The newly launched Xiaomi redmi 3s Plus features a 5.0 IPS LCD with 720 x 1280 pixels resolutions. The device is powered by Qualcomm MSM8937 Snapdragon 430 and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. It has 32 GB internal storage with 3 GB of RAM. There is a 13 MP rear camera on the backside of the device with f/2.0, phase detection autofocus, and LED flash. The front shooter is 5M which comes with f/2.2 lens and can record 1080p videos.


The device supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, and hotspot connectivity options. The Redmi 3s Plus supports Fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass.  The smartphone gets power with a Li-Ion 4100 mAh battery pack. It comes in Gold, Dark Gray, and Silver color options. The Dual SIM Redmi 3s Plus measures 139.3 x 69.6 x 8.5 mm and weights 144 g.


The Xiaomi Redmi 3s Plus is an offline model so retailers don’t have to worry about competing with online sales and cash backs. The smartphone will be available for purchase from October 1. The device is available for about $143 at MRP, while you can save $11 if you purchase the smartphone for $132 via BestBuy approximately.
