The display diligence has been pushing frontward determinedly and it is because of that we can benefit from things like high-performance OLED technology and curved panels. The second is a quite new improvement and represents a main springboard in the direction of the final objective of a completely elastic show.

In curved display and curved smartphone, LG and Samsung both are actively involved so this barely a new concept. According to reports, Samsung is also working on a foldable smartphone that is expected to launch in 2017.

Meanwhile, LG also has a roadmap and new patent document suggest that the company could launch foldable device in 2017. The patent show that LG is not only plans to manufacture a foldable device, but a crystal clear and touch-sensitive one as well.

It seems that LG is visualizing a book-shaped smartphone that is capable of folding in on it. The left half of the device seems to be a transparent touchscreen, presentation multimedia controls. It will probably control the content on the other half of the display, which would probably benefit more from being non-transparent, due to the quality. A further attractive idea is that, maybe, the touch screen on the transparent half will list interface on both sides.
