Apple Partners with Flipkart to sell iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus in India

Apple has partnered with Filpkart to sell lately launched iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus in India. Both devices will be launched on October 7 in India. Instead of third party suppliers, the e-commerce website Flipkart will get iPhone supply directly from Apple. You can also get iPads, and Macs from Apple.

The manufacturer is also dealing with an Indian e-commerce firm Infibeam to directly sell its iPhones. Customers can buy an iPhone via third parties because Apple doesn’t have license to sell its products directly in India.


Some customers also looking for discounted smartphones, despite the loss the new partnership guarantees a good marketing support and supply chain from Apple.  Last year few retailers such as Snapdeal, Flipkart, and Paytm were offering discount on iPhone 6s. The iPhone 6s was launched for $900 and these retailers were offering the device for $675, it’s a major price cut. Similarly iPhone 7 which costs $1,080 will be retailed for $900.


As for specifications, the iPhone 7 features a 4.7 inch LED-backlit IPS LCD with 750 x 1334 pixels resolution. The device runs iOS 10 and is powered by an Apple A10 Fusion chipset. The smartphone comes in 32GB/128GB/and 256 GB native storage with 2 GB of RAM.  The smartphone houses a 12 MP rear camera with f/1.8, 28mm, phase detection autofocus, OIS, and quad-LED dual tone flash.


A 7 MP front shooter with f/2.2, 32mm, 1080p@30fps, 720p@240fps, face detection, HDR, and panorama. The device supports fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, and barometer. The iPhone 7 is powered by 1960 mAh battery pack. The device is available in Jet Black, Black, Silver, Gold, and Rose Gold color options.
