Recently Xiaomi announced Redmi Note in 4G LTE version at a reasonable price. Now is time for another big hit; Xiaomi is ready to launch another high specs networking device known as Redmi1S.
The handset “Redmi 1S 4G” would make the appearance in China on 16th August. The interesting fact about the handset is the handset is equipped with different chipset in comparison of Redmi Note 4G.
Redmi 1S 4G has a 4.7 inches screen. The handset will run MIUI V5 based on Android 4.4 KitKat which was lack in the previous one. The older versions only run Jelly Bean. The new Redmi 1S 4G will come with MediaTek chipset same as the original Redmi 1S which supports Qualcomm Snapdragon chip. The MT6582 is the chipset placed in the new version of Xiaomi’s Redmi 1S. The handset has a 1.3 GHz quad-core Cortex-A7 processor and 1GB of RAM.
The LTE connectivity only supports China mobile networks. There is another new thing found in Chinese handset; it comes with single SIM option instead of dual SIM. This is the difference between the old version and new. Old 3G version supports dual SIM. Company placed the powerful 2200 mAh battery in the handset which is 10 times better than the 3G version of the handset. Remaining specifications are same like the elder one.
Redmi 1S 4G has an 8 mega pixel rear and 1.6 mega pixel front facing camera with LED flash. Company provides 8 GB in built storage which can be extended externally. The handset will be offered in low price. Company sets $113 for this handset.
There is no doubt that this is the master piece of technology available in cheaper price than the others.
