IFA is a very big event and important for users, retailers and manufacturers. All three parties are equally interested in this mega event. This annual expo is a big challenge for the manufacturers who have to face big giants in the industry.
IFA opened at 10 am in Berlin on 3rd September. They were many products scheduled to be displayed but the most awaited were Galaxy Note 4 and Sony Xperia Z3. However Apple is yet to follow with its iPhone 6 on 9th September.

Samsung held Press Conference on 3rd September 2014
Samsung in its press conference declared Galaxy Note 4. This was not the only product, they announced the smartwatch Gear S as well. Beside that they also announced Galaxy Note Active and Galaxy Note Edge world’s first curved display note till yet. Galaxy Note 4 with 5.7in QHD screen with 1,440 x 2,550 pixels resolution packed in Super AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 805 or Exynos 5433 chipset (64-bit), a 16MP camera and the most desirable S-Pen stylus are the specifications of the handy Note 4.
Sony Press Conference
Sony also declared its products in their official press event. The products are known as Xperia Z3 and the Xperia Z3 Compact. Xperia Z3 is the low range handset for everybody to buy. Along with this Sony Xperia Z3 compact has also been announced. As usual the mini version of the giant.
Asus Press Conference
Asus being a new company in the field of smartphones and smartwatches as compare to others. This Chinese based company has covered the journey of success in short time with good speed. In the IFA they also participated and declared there budget category ZenWatch affordable by everyone. They declared this product with a price tag of $150 which is quite less as compare to others presented in the IFA.
4th September 2014
HTC made its presence known through a press conference on 4th September and launched their Desire 820 Android based smartphone with 64-bit Octa-core processor and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 system on chip. HTC also announced its Tegra K1 processor which is expectedly placed inside the Nexus 9 device. However they will announce it more loudly in Google I/O.
Nokia/Microsoft Press Conference
Another big giant is partnership of Nokia and Microsoft also appeared in IFA event with their Nokia Lumia 730 and Lumia 830 with there own unique features. The company focused on budget smartphones and they make the dream of users come true and launched selfie phones in very comprehensive price. The both handsets runs windows phone 8.1 operating system.
Lenovo Press Conference
Lenovo also takes the part in the event and announced their giant Lenovo Vibe X2 with upgraded version of Android operating system is known as lollipop.
Huawei Press Conference
Huawei also held the press event in IFA on 4th September and they launched Ascend Mate 7 with premium metal back cover. The handset has 6 inches display with 1080 pixels resolution, 13mega pixel camera and blazing fast LTE Cat.
