Most of the manufactures are concentrating to launch the handset with 5 mega pixel front facing camera and most of the handsets belong to selfie family. Recently Samsung revealed the handset named “Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime”. The device image leaked from Vietnam. It is expected that the handset will make the debut in Vietnam somewhere in October with the expected price of $236. After hitting the Vietnam markets the handset will be available in some other regions as well.
The Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime has 5 inches large display with 540 x 960 pixels resolution. The handset is powered with 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 processor. Samsung placed 1 GB RAM and 8 GB on board memory inside the handset. The on board memory can be extended up to 64 GB via microSD card. The handset has 8 mega pixel rear camera. Basically this is the Android based handset; it has Android 4.4 KitKat operating system pre installed.
The handset supports dual SIM cards. Besides these features the handset also has 3G enabled and Wi-Fi connectivity and Bluetooth 4.0 as well. There is no doubt that the handset has many good features but it has to face competitors like Sony and Nokia. These giants recently confirmed the handsets named Xperia C3 and Nokia Lumia 730 with the same 5 mega pixel front facing camera with selfie features. Hopefully Samsung maintain their reputation amongst the users and will capture the markets successfully.
