Samsung recently launched the premium version of previously launched Galaxy S5. The new flagship has the same name with the addition of “Prime” and the new flagship is tagged with the name by Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime. The Galaxy S5 Prime now hits the Netherland market via KPN carrier. KPN is the biggest carrier in Netherland and had an event to discuss their new LTE advance services. During the event KPN confirmed the existence of Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime. Still the manufacturer did not say the words on the handset’s official name and they kept the name hided.

KPN have introduced their LTE services from 1st of June onwards and the devices including Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime with LTE support will be available after the launching of LTE services. The original handset has a 5.3 inches display with 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution but Netherland have a same device with 5.1 inches display with 1080 x 1920 pixel resolutions. With this pixels resolutions the Galaxy S5 Prime is going to challenge the QHD display of LG G 3.

Galaxy S5 Prime has a Quad Core Snapdragon 805 processor with 4.5 Adreno GPU. The handset has a SM-G901F model number. The handset is look like an elder one Galaxy S5. Netherland media says the handset is same with the previously launched galaxy S5. The leaked images give the hints that the handset has a bit larger screen than the predecessor Galaxy S5. The new version of the handset has a textured metal back.

Hopefully other markets will also get the premium version of galaxy S5 soon after the Netherland markets.
