It surprises many people who have been hearing about this handset. It was generally considered that old style flip devices were story of the past and would no more be in fashion again. They had become a history and extinct. It is the time of smartphones and not the old fashion handsets. Last week LG surprised everybody by announcing flip type smartphone. It was announced officially in Korea.
The company has tried to combine two elements; old fashion designed with new generation of smartphone. It was announced for Korea exclusively and it gives us a sight that the smartphone would run Android KitKat operating system.
Well it may be somewhat sad to know that this flip type smartphone has been designed for the elderly people and those who are slightly handicapped users. The handset is specifically designed and manufactured only for the Korean market. It is not likely to visit any other market and the company has set its goal like that.
Technically the handset is not very well furnished. It just has the basic requirements to run as a smartphone with minimum functions to serve the purpose of above mention users. It is expected to have 1 GB of RAM and 4 GB internal memory pre installed by the company. It is not have any provision for extension of memory. It will have Quad Core 1.2 GHz processor. It is equipped with 3.5 inches display with 320 x 480 pixels resolutions. The handset is energized by 1700mAh removable battery.
