Sony did not appear with their most anticipated smartphone Xperia Z4 and they launched the mid-range mobile Xperia M4 Aqua and the tablet version of Xperia Z4 called Xperia Z4 Tablet. The Android Phone Xperia Z4 will be launch during IFA which will be held in September 2015.
Yesterday Sony was announced the high-end metal body mobile named Xperia J1compact and the design the mobile quite similar with Xperia Z3 Compact. The Xperia J1 Compact has 4.3 inches screen and measures 5.04 x 2.56 x 0.38 inches which is slightly big in size and has fully metal body. The handset sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 system on chip with the speed of 2.2 GHz quad-core one. Other spec includes 2 GB of RAM and has the power of 2300 mAh battery and has 20.7 MP rear and 2 MP front-facing camera.
The handset runs on Android 4.4 KitKat, but there is no information available when the mobile will update with the latest version of operating system. The Sony fixed $490 price for the handset and there is no word on whether it will be hitting markets outside of Japan. Well, we only have hope that the Android Phone will be available globally.
