LG Plans to unveil LG G Flex 3 Instead of LG V20 in September

The expectation was that the most rumored LG flagship LG V20 will be showcased at IFA 2016 event at Berlin on September 2 to 7. However, it seems that the South Korean conglomerate has different plans so it could unveil LG G Flex 3 instead of an LG V20 device.

According to PhoneArena, the LG Flex 3 will be launched at IFA 2016 and rumors are circulating around for quite some time about the device. According to rumors, the upcoming device packs a 5.5-inch Quad HD display, runs Snapdragon 820 chipset processor with 4 GB of RAM. The device will support a 16MP rear camera with an 8MP twin camera while the selfie shooter is expected to be an 8MP sensor.

 

The LG G Flex 3 will feature a curved display, which will be classy than its predecessor LG G Flex 2. The device is expected to come in modular design similar to G5.  The predecessor of the upcoming device the LG G Flex 2 features a 5.5 inches Curved P-OLED display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The device is powered by Qualcomm MSM8994 Snapdragon 810 and runs Android Lollipop.

 

The LG G Flex 2 is available in two variants such as16 GB memory with 2 GB RAM and 32 GB memory with 3 GB RAM. In the photography section, there is a 13 MP main sensor with f/2.4, laser autofocus, OIS, and dual-LED flash. The mobile support a 2.1 MP selfie camera as well. A 3000 mAh non-removable Li-Po battery keeps the device and the smartphone comes in Platinum Silver in Flamenco Red colors.

 

While rumored before, the specifications of the LG V20 were leaked; the device will run Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. The smartphone features 5.5 inch display, will run Snapdragon 820 processor with 4 GB RAM. Well, which device either LG V20 or LG G Flex will be unveiled at the event, it’s vague yet fans have to wait till the first week of September.
