Recently Xiaomi introduced their 5.5 inches phablet named Xiaomi Redmi Note. Now company announced the latest version of this phablets with 4G connectivity. The new version also comes with minor but better changes. Company placed 1.6 GHz quad core Snapdragon 400 processor instead of octa-core 1.7GHz MediaTek MT6592. Company also replaced the 1 GB RAM and put 2GB RAM in the handset. The new Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G uses Snapdragon 400 MSM8928 system on chip for 4G connectivity.
The in-built memory is same as 8 GB but the external memory capacity increased incredibly and supports 64 GB external memory. Early model of the handset supports Dual SIM but this new 4G version has a single SIM slot. The screen size of the phablets is same as 5.5 inches having 720 x 1280 pixels resolution. The new Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G has 13 mega pixel rear and 5 mega pixel front facing camera and is energized with 3100mAh battery. The new phablets supports TDD-LTE at 1900/2300/2600MHz bands for 4G connectivity.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G is available in $162 USD in China and in Malaysia the phablet is available in $158 USD. Well this is the reasonable price for this modest technology phablet.
