Acer Liquid Jade Plus and Liquid Leap will be available in August

In the month of May Acer announced 2 handsets named “Liquid Jade” and “Liquid Leap”. At the time of announcement, company acknowledged that the handsets would hit the markets somewhere in August. According to the plan the handsets will not make the debut in any market but now company has a plan to reveal the new version of the handset named “Acer Liquid Jade Plus”. Basically the handset is same but comes with two major improvements.

Liquid Jade has a 1GB RAM and 8GB onboard memory but the new version of  the handset comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB inbuilt memory. Handset remaining specifications are 5 inches standard display with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution. The handset is featured with 1.3 GHz Quad Core MediaTek processor.  13 mega pixel rear and 2 mega pixel front-facing camera placed on the handset along with dual SIM option. The handset is energized with 2100 mAh battery and runs Android 4.4 KitKat operating system.

According to Teltarif, the Liquid Jade Plus will be available in Germany starting August, for €279. We’re guessing that the handset will be released in other markets at about the same time.

The handset will be available with Liquid Leap. The first wearable device from Acer. The wearable has 1 inch OLED touch screen display and provide the access of calls, messages and music. The wearable has a feature to collect the fitness and health information’s. The wearable will be available in August against the €99 price.

There is no information available that the wearable and the handset will be available in North America or not but we can expect that the Acer still thinking on it.
