Technologies grow faster. This is the time of octa core and A8 processors. Acer announced its first octa core smart phone in June and they started selling the product last week. The handset is known as Liquid X1. This time only Taiwanese users are able to buy the handset. Taiwan is the home land of Acer and the company takes start by selling the handset from there. But very soon other regions will also get the handset including Europe and Asian markets.
The handset is Android based. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat. The handset has a slim body and it measures 8.5mm thick and has 164 grams weight. The screen of the handset is made up with IPS display and it measures 5.7 inches heaving 720x1280 pixels resolution. The handset is powered with 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor. Acer placed 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal memory inside the handset. The built-in memory can be extended via microSD card. Company provides 13 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash and free focus feature. This free focus feature allows the users to refocus the images after capturing. Acer Liquid X1 supports LTE Cat network connectivity and it’s energized with 2700mAh battery.
This affordable device is available in two colors; Black and Red. The handset has a lot to offer but in the account of cost this is one of the mid range handsets. Company sets $256 price tag in the handset. There is a reason behind that Acer has a plan to grab the markets and has a plan to stand number one in the race in two years.
