Asus ZenFone Zoom with 4GB RAM and 3X optical zoom is now available in the US
Yesterday Asus started selling ZenFone Zoom in the USA. Currently handset is available at B&H Photo, which is selling the unlocked device for $399.99. ZenFone Zoon, which was announced in January 2015 was not available till December 2015. The device was only available in Taiwan which is Asus home country. It seems that US is the 2nd market where the handset is being officially released.
ZenFone Zoom comes with LTE connectivity, 4G service can be used on T-Mobile, or AT&T but it doesn’t function on Verizon and Sprint. The main feature of the phone is a 13 primary megapixel camera with optical image stabilization and 3x optical zoom. Different Smartphones offer digital zoom but optical zoom enable a user to capture sharper and clear photos of far subject.
