In the month of September 3 big companies are launching their much awaited products. Apple, Samsung and BlackBerry will be in the arena with their gladiators; hopefully all will be winners. Apple is ready with its iPhone 6, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is the other champion and BlackBerry Passport is the third competitor. They will all be in the ring in September and each will be so appealing for the users that could make the choice difficult.
BlackBerry Passport is the first high-end model to be launched since CEO John Chen took over the company. It includes much talked about the keyboard that is said to be unique QWERTY keyboard which enhances the typing speed. It is going to make the long texts easier for the users. All the commands are present in this keyboard.
BlackBerry Passport is equipped with 4.5 inch screen with a resolution of 1440 x 1440 pixel density of 453ppi that is more than 441ppi pixel density of the HTC One (M8). It is protected with Gorilla Glass 3 and has square screen with 1:1 ratio. The handset is powered with 2.2GHz quad core processor with Snapdragon 800 chip and 330 GPU. Company placed 3GB RAM and 32 GB in-built memory. The handset has a 13 mega pixel rear camera and 2 mega pixel front facing camera. The handset is energized with 3450mAh battery. The nano SIM works inside the handset.
The interesting thing about the handset is the handset does not run Android, iOS or windows. The handset runs BlackBerry’s own design BlackBerry 10 interface. This is one of the most favorable things for the company and helps them for keeping the trend of BlackBerry alive.
