HTC is continuously working on mid range devices for making them available to all categories of consumers and has market conscious approach for their products. It is not only the mid range products last year M7 and now M8 are high price devices and are selling in the market successfully giving good business to the company. HTC is getting more budget conscious giving relief to the customers by providing them low and mid range handsets as Samsung and Xiaomi are doing.
HTC has rightly worked out the production of two devices that are dual SIM and in the category of mid range budget and it is bringing out in the market Desire 620 and 620G. Presently it is available only in Taiwan and later will be available in the whole of countries shortly and then the two desires will move on to other Asian and European markets. The company has used Snapdragon 410 system on chip to keep it in budget while Desire 620 G is equipped with MediaTek MT 6592 chipset without LTE modem and does not have 4G LTE connectivity while 620 with Snapdragon has the LTE connectivity.
Other features of Desire 620 and 620G are common; both have 5 inches large display having 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and have the capacity of 1 GB RAM and 8 GB onboard memory and an 8 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera. Both are powered with 2100mAh battery and are dual SIM devices for flexibility to switch on to different carrier using the same handset.
Desire 620 is available in the market from today onwards against the price of $225while its sibling Desire 620 G with MediaTek system on chip will be available about 15 days later with the price of $160. HTC is hopeful to rule the market with these low priced devices which are popular in the Asian market.
