Expectedly Xiaomi will develop own Operating system

Xiaomi has created turbulence in the market with the rumor that it is developing its own operating system for the smartphones.

Reportedly Xiaomi is developing MiOS to replace Firefox OS and is a great threat for the Google Android which is holding the market so far for the low cost smartphones. Xiaomi’s new operating system may replace Android operating system and would capture the low end devices market.

The Xiaomi made smartphones have been running Android One System and their performance has been excellent therefore it is doubted that Xiaomi should developed its own operating system for the low cost mobiles already present in the developing countries there seems no solid reason for this development; maybe it is only a trick to attract the news and comments from all corners about the company itself.

Xiaomi

Yet there is a reason and it is to have total control over its products like Huawei has developed its own HiSilicon chips for its honor series handsets and they are selling successfully for the past two years. Considering this factor Xiaomi may like to have all indigenous parts and systems for its smartphones.

Xiaomi has established itself in the market fairly well in a short time and enjoys good reputation. However it should keep in mind the Samsung experience where they have not succeeded in marketing their own operating system, Bada and Tizen and could not develop their own smartphone ecosystem.
