Gionee launched its Gionee S6 last year in November, and soon its Pro version is coming. The device will be launched on 13 June in China, and specifications of the device leaked ahead of its launch.
As per TENAA listings, the Gionee S6 Pro will feature 5.5" AMOLED display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm MSM8976 Snapdragon 652, clubbed Quad-core 1.8 GHz Cortex-A72 & quad-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A53, and clocked at Adreno 510. It has 32/64 GB internal storage options with 4 GB RAM. There is a 13 MP rear camera with f/2.0, autofocus, and LED flash and 8MP primary camera as well. The dual-SIM smartphone sports Type-C 1.0 reversible connector and offer Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, v4.0, A2DP, and GPS connectivity options.
The Gionee S6 Pro is slim and slender; it looks nice and will feel smooth in hands. It supports fingerprint, proximity, accelerometer, and compass sensors. The device runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. It weights 150 g and measures 153 x 75.3 x 7.6 mm. The smartphone is backed with a 3150 mAh battery which keeps it awake.
