HTC Launches HTC 10, HTC 10 Lifestyle alongside other devices in India

HTC officially launched a bunch of new smartphones in an event in India such as HTC 10, HTC lifestyle, HTC One X9, the Desire 825, Desire 830, Desire 628 Dual SIM, and Desire 630.

The Taiwanese company released HTC 10 last month; finally the smartphone has landed in India along with its variant. There was rumor that the company will launch only HTC Lifestyle in India, however, astonishingly, HTC brings both smartphones in India alongside five other devices.


The HTC 10 and HTC 10 Lifestyle share similar specifications with few differences. The main difference is that the base model is powered by Snapdragon 820 SoC, while the HTC 10 Lifestyle is powered by Snapdragon 652 SoC. The HTC 10 comes in two variants such as 32GB native storage with 4GB RAM, and 64GB storage with 4GB RAM. However, the 2nd variant is not launched in India yet. The HTC 10 Lifestyle comes only in 32GB built-in storage with 3GB of RAM.


Furthermore, the HTC 10 Lifestyle owns a sapphire lens for primary camera. Both smartphones support BoomSound stereo speakers, Nano-SIM, and run Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Rest similar specifications are 5.2 inches super LCD5 screen with 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution. The camera is also same; both devices have 12MP rear camera and 5MP front shooter. Both smartphones sport fingerprint scanner, Type-C 1.0 reversible connector, 3000 mAh battery, and same connectivity options. Both devices weights 161 g and measures 145.9 x 71.9 x 9 mm, both will be available in Carbon Gray, Topaz Gold, a Glacier Silver color options.


The HTC 10 is priced at INR 52990 (approximately USD $788), the One X9 will be available for INR 25,990 (about USD $387), the Desire 825 will carry INR 18,990 (roughly USD $282), whilst the Desire 628 Dual SIM is priced at INR 13,990 (about USD $208). All these smartphones will be available in June.
