HTC has already confirmed that they are going to release One M9 in MWC but here we have two new smartphones from HTC, One M8i and HTC A53 and the specs of both the handsets are leaked. They are going to announce HTC One M9 and HTC One M9 Plus in an event with the slogan ‘Utopia In Progress’ to be held at MWC on 1st March. The exact release date of HTC One M8i and HTC A53 is still not confirmed but the handsets will be released same year.
According to the leaked information and the name of the handset suggest HTC One M8i is similar with previously launched HTC One M8. The handset has M8_QL model number and has a series code of 0PKV. The dimensions and the weight of this upcoming handset are same like the predecessor. The leaked information shows the handset will carry 5 inches full HD display having 1920x 1080 pixels resolution and powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 MSM8939 chipset. The handset will have 2 GB RAM along with 16 GB on board memory. It also has the power of 13 mega pixel rear camera with dual LED and 5 mega pixel front facing camera and the company’s specific boomSound speaker is also placed inside the mobile. The battery capacity is not known yet but it is predicted that the handset is energized with 3000mAh battery and will run the new Android 5.0 operating system.
The other handset is HTC A53 which is exclusively designed for the Asian markets. The same source revealed the information about HTC A53 and as per the leak the handset is featured with MediaTek MT6795 octa-core 64-bit chipset with the speed of 2.0GHz processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The handset has 13 mega pixel rear camera and 2 MP front facing camera but the ‘Premium’ version of the same handset has 4 mega pixel front facing sensor and it will also run 5.0 Lollipop operating system and will be avaiable in three bright colorsGray/Purple Gun, White/Silver, and Brown/Light Gold.
Both the handsets have different model numbers. One has M8_QL#TUHL model number for the Asian markets, and the M8_QL#UL model number for the European markets. The price of the handsets are not known but it is a general guess according to the specs that the handsets will stand in mid range handset lines.
