HTC S9 Officially Lunched with Optical Image Stabilization
On 12 April HTC debuted HTC 10 with world’s first optical image stabilization in both rear and secondary cameras. Now Taiwanese manufacturer officially launched another affordable handset HTC One S9 which resembles to HTC One M9.
The HTC One S9 features a 5 inch Full HD display with (1080 x 1920) resolution and it owns a metallic body design just like HTC One M9 but recent mobile is more affordable smartphone that set apart itself with a set of two front sacking speakers. Perceptibly HTC S9 is not a same level device as flagship series but it falls in an upper mid-range. However it looks like a last year flagship but there are several changes in the specifications. The HTC S9 sports a MediaTek Helio X10 system chip which is less powerful SoC than the top ranking chips out there.
The mobile runs Android 6 Marshmallow with HTC Sense on top. It has a 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 lens, optical image stabilization, and 1080p video; there is an UltraPixel camera with large, 2-micron pixel, meaning it should perform better than other cameras in low light environment. The dimensions of the mobile are 144,6 × 69,7 × 10,09 mm, and it has 158 g weight. The smartphone has 16GB internal storage and 2840 mAh battery.
The HTC S9 is about to hit HTC Germany stores shelves and it sports Europe-bound 4G LTE bands. However, the company hasn’t provided official information about the device availability in United States so it’s quite difficult to tell it will be available in US or not. In Europe the HTC One S9 carry a €500 (approximately $566) price tag, the price tag puts the upper mid-range phones which is equal to last year model HTC One M9.
