Huawei held event yesterday at Beijing for special purpose. It was to officially announce and introduce Huawei Honor 6 Extreme Edition. The important thing about this handset is the use of Kirin 928 chipset made by the company itself. Therefore it is a big lead for the company. Huawei Honor 6 Extreme Edition has a massive RAM of 3GB and has Mali T628MP4 GPU for handling the graphics. It is powered by an Octa Core processor of 2GHz. The performance of Kirin 928 is yet to be seen because we have not seen it practically performing, therefore we cannot draw a comparison between Kirin 920 in Honor 6 and Kirin 928 yet to come in Huawei Honor 6 Extreme Edition.
Apparently the exterior look of Huawei Honor 6 Extreme Edition is similar to its predecessor, Honor 6. It is also provided with5 inches display with 1080 pixels and it runs Android 4.4 KitKat which is the latest operating system at present. It has the connectivity LTE-A Cat 6 networks supporting it.
Whereas it has 3GB RAM, the handset is provided on board internal memory of 32 GB which is quite sufficient itself. If the users still need more there is a provision of extending it externally up to 128 GB using microSD card. Covering the photographic aspect, a powerful camera of 13 MP as a main camera is there at the back. This is not the only photographic equipment, it has a front facing camera of 5 MP capacity for selfies and the video calling. The back cover of the handset is in fact non removable 3100mAh battery powering the device like Honor 6.
Beside the original set company is also introducing many accessories for Huawei Honor 6 Extreme Edition. The accessories include specially designed headphones, a 0.2mm tempered glass screen protector, 2 NFC tags and a limited edition "Road and force" protective shell.
Company make only 10000 units of the device and the handset will be available in $489. The pre orders will smart from 21st October.
