Latest Android Updates Rolling Out in Verizon Motorola Moto X 2014

There is exciting news for Verizon Motorola Moto X 2nd Generation users; the device is getting new updates. According to release memo, updates come with along the newest Android security scrap.

Apart from the Android security patch nothing spectacular is contained in the updates. The updates are rolling out so it will take a little time for the updates to knock your smartphone. But if you are feeling eager you can check for software updates in the Setting menu on your mobile.


Reminding specifications of the Moto X 2nd Gen, it features 5.2 inches AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. The mobile runs Android OS, v4.4.4 KitKat upgradable to v6.0 Marshmallow. The smartphone is powered by Chipset Qualcomm MSM8974AC Snapdragon 801, CPU Quad-core 2.5 GHz Krait 400 and GPU Adreno 330.  It has 13MP rear camera with Dual LED flash and 2MP secondary camera. The Motorola Moto X 2nd Gen comes in 16/32 GB native storage and 2 GB RAM/ 64 GB RAM options.


The smartphone supports Accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, barometer, and temperature sensors. The mobile supports fast battery charging which charges 60% in 30 min (Quick Charge 2.0). It is available in White and Black color options. A Li-Ion 2300 mAh Non-removable battery enlighten the device. The mid-range device is worth to use because it comes with sturdy specifications.
