Lenovo Says: All Moto 2016 Models will have Fingerprint Scanners

Fingerprint scanner is not a new feature; everyone is familiar with this incredible technology, which has made mobiles more secure. The feature can be easily found in high end devices. Every mobile maker is using this feature in its new mobiles, since Motorola is slow in jumping on the feature. Now it seems that Motorola is changing its tradition and decided to introduce fingerprint scanner in its smartphones.

Chen Xudong, SVP of Lenovo and president for Lenovo China and Asia Pacific, has exposed that all Moto mobiles coming in 2016 will have a fingerprint scanner. It is a new move by Lenovo that will be much appreciated by Lenovo’s fans. In spite of well recognition of fingerprint sensor, the feature was absent from the Motorola device that were launched last year. So finally something new and exciting is coming out this year for Motorola lovers.

The company also shared some insights about the 2016 portfolio. Lenovo hinted that there is no mobile that is coming with 4.7 or 5 inch display.  Thus, we could say that there will be no Moto E this year. Fingerprint feature will come with high-end devices by Motorola, and mid-range or budget smartphones will come under the Lenovo brand tag.  We expect that we would see total 16 smartphones in 2016. Xudong also said that he likes the current design of Moto mobiles, but the company is struggling to provide better case, according to the taste of the western and eastern customers.

In addition, Chen Xudong strained that before the end of the year Google service will enter into China absolutely.  This means that Lenovo would acquire the services of Google for PlayStore Apps for Android mobiles, Gmail, and Maps so that habitants can explicitly use these services again in the mainland. Consequently, we could expect high-end Moto smartphones with gleaming features and latest technology this year.
