Back in January at MWC 2016 Lenovo launched two budget phones Vibe K5 and Vibe K5 Plus, the former is available for pre-order in Europe. Currently the pre-orders are available in Greece and the smartphone comes with €199 or $223 price tag.
The Vibe K5 is launched after over a month the Lenovo released the Plus variant of the handset in India. On 15 March the Chinese company launched Lenovo K5 Vibe Plus mobile in India and it was available for sale on 25 March through Flipkart. The vibe Plus is available in $126 in the India but base model carries a $199 price tag which is comparatively high.
The Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus comes with a 5.00-inch display with a 1080x1920 pixels resolution. The mobile is powered by 1.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor and has a 2GB of RAM. The phone comes with a 16GB of native storage that can be enhanced up to 32GB via a microSD card. In the camera section, the smartphone posses a 13-megapixel main camera and a 5MP front snapper for selfies. The mobile runs Android 5.1 and a 2750mAh removable battery keep the mobile on.
Whereas specifications of the Lenovo Vibe K5 are concerned, the mobile packs a 5-inch HD display with 720x1280 pixels resolution and powered by Snapdragon 415 chipset. It has 2GB of RAM and 16GB native storage, while in the camera division, the Lenovo Vibe K5 hold a 13MP rear camera and 5MP secondary camera. The mobile runs 5.1 Android and a 2,750 mAh battery is there to keeps the mobile on.
If we compare specifications of both mobiles the Plus version comes with higher specifications as compared to base model. But the price tag is bit confusing base model comes with high price tag than its Plus variant might be it is due to tax in the Europe.
