Before this news we heard that the LG has a plan to reveal the mini version of their latest flagship named “LG G3”, but there are no confirmed words we hear from the officials. Now the officials confirm the existence of the mini version of the predecessor. The upcoming device is known as “G3 BEAT” in Asia and “LG G3 s” in Europe. According to the LG officials the handset is compact only in size. The specifications are still powerful same as the older version.
The handset runs Android 4.4 KitKat with LG’s new UX interface. The LG G3 is also having a same interface. The handset has a 5 inch IPS display with 720 x 1,280 pixels resolution. The device is powered with 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor. 1GB RAM with 8 GB internal memory offered by the company. The on board memory can be extended via microSD card. The handset is featured with 8 mega pixel rear camera with the additional features like, Laser Auto Focus, 1.3 mega pixel front facing camera is also found on the handset. The handset is energized with 2540 mAh removable battery.
LG G3 Beat will be first available in South Korea and after that the other markets will get the handset. In South Korea users are to get the handset on 18th July onwards. The handset is available in 3 colors black, white and golden. Hopefully users will enjoy the new compact version of the handset.
