LG released Watch Urbane LTE before MWC 2015

 

LG has unveiled its LTE capable ‘Watch Urbane’ without waiting for the MWC. However more details will come on surface at MWC stating 2nd March 2015.

Watch Urbane is in fact extremely miniaturized smartphone that can be worn on the wrist like a watch and is basically designed a smartwatch with LTE connectivity that can make calls with requiring external help of a smartphone. This smartwatch is featured with many good qualities like translating foreign speech, take voice calls, share the GPS location, track your fitness, and monitor heart rate and measure atmospheric pressure. However there is another well thought feature in this and it is SOS call button that enables you to make emergency call to a pre designated number(s) that think should be contacted in emergency.

LG has also crossed NFC capabilities allowing NFC-based payments to be made; presently the Watch Urbane LTE is certified right now. LG Watch Urbane LTE is energized with a 700mAh internal battery which is an improvement over the past 410mAh in case of non-LTE versions and runs runs LG's proprietary wearable platform instead of Android Wear like competing smartwatches.
