Motorola start selling the Moto Maxx in Brazil from yesterday and the handset will released in Mexico on mid of November and after that Latin America will get this handset. Company set BRL 2,199 price for 64 GB version of this handset.
Recently Motorola launched Droid Turbo globally and yesterday the international version of the same handset named Motorola Moto Maxx has been launched by the company because the Droid Turbo is only available in USA and specially designed for Verizon, the largest carrier company in USA.
Motorola officials confirmed that the handset is first available in Brazil only and after that rest of the regions will get the handset. Brazilian users can buy this handset from Motorola’s official online store Motorola.com. After the Brazilian market the next destination of the handset is Mexico. The arrival date of the handset is 15 November, followed by other Latin American regions shortly after that. Company sets BRL 2,199 price tag for 64 GB model.
The new Moto Maxx has a resemblance with Droid Turbo. They both have 'Ballistic Nylon' make. The company claims that this material is durable, tough and has a vivid texture with bright colors and is visible and distinguishable from a distance. Company further claims that the handset is protected with DuPont Kevlar fiber and its protected from inside from water-repellent nano-coating. The same protection found in Droid Turbo.
The international version of Droid Turbo is powered with 3900mAh battery. This battery considered as giant and placed in biggest handsets like Xperia Z3, Galaxy S5 and some others. The battery keeps alive the handset up to 48 hours. Beside these features the mobile phone supports Motorola’s Turbo Charger. This charger charged the battery in 15 minutes for 8 hours.
The Motorola Moto Maxx measures 143.5x73.3x11.2mm by dimension and weighs 176 grams only it runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat. The screen size of the handset is 5.2 inches and it is the QHD display having 1440x2560 pixels resolutions which gives 565 ppi to the handset screen. The handset is protected with Gorilla Glass 3. 2.1 GHz Quad Core processor is worked inside the handset with Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset and Adreno 420 GPU. Company placed 3 GB RAM inside the handset with 64 GB on board memory. The mobile phone supports 21-megapixel rear and 2 mega pixel front facing camera with autofocus camera with f/2.0 aperture and dual-LED flash features.
