Samsung is busy in the making of their upcoming flagship Galaxy S7 and, on the other hand, the new Galaxy O series smartphones are ready to hit the markets. Previously we heard about the Galaxy O7 which carries SM-G600 model number. These handsets are the result of the collaboration of Samsung and Oculus. The company has an event on 23rd September and it is expected that the new Galaxy O series smartphones will be released there.
The “O” series are containing two Android Phones, Galaxy O7 and Galaxy O5. The Galaxy O5 has the SM-G550 model number and recently appeared on GFX Benchmark. According to the specs, the Galaxy O5 seems to be the basic level handset and will come in 5 inches screen with 720x 1280 pixels resolution. The handset is featured with Samsung’s own Exynos 3475 chipset paired with Quad Core 1.3 GHz processor and Mali-T720 GPU. The handset has 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal memory but users are able to use only 4.5 GB and remaining memory is consumed by the handset. The Galaxy O5 has 8 MP rear and 5MP front-facing camera and this Android Phone runs 5.1 Lollipop version of operating system.
On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy O7 comes with Snapdragon 410 chipset combined with Quad Core processor and Adreno 360 GPU. The handset has the same 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal memory. Beside that the Galaxy O7 carries 13 MP rear and 5 MP front-facing camera and runs the same version of operating system.
