Nextbit's Cloud-Focused Robin will be Launched in India Next Week

The Nextbit’s cloud focused robin was announced a couple of weeks ago, now it has acknowledged endorsement to trade the smartphone in India. The company has started sending invites for a May 25 event where the cloud focused Robin will be launched.

Formerly, the India launch was scheduled for April end, but the event delayed. The smartphone began distribution to Kickstarter backers in the country last week, and it will available to the general public on 25th may. At present there are no official words on price of the device in India. However, In USA launch the smartphone carried a $399 price tag.

In case if you overlooked specifications of the device, the Robin packs a 5.2 inch IPS display with 1080p resolution. The mobile is powered by Snapdragon 808 SoC and it has a 3GB RAM with 32GB non-expandable storage. The device runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and its storage is not limited to only 32GB, users can get benefit from 100GB storage via internet cloud. The smartphone has a 13MP main camera with 5MP front facing camera.

The Robins offers Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, USB Port-C port with quick charging support, and LTE connectivity options. There is also a stereo speaker, fingerprint scanner, and 2,680 mAh battery powers the device. There are four notification LEDs on the backside of the mobile which notify users for everything that is happening on the smartphone.

The internet cloud is completely new way of handling smartphone’s storage, the operating system will create backup all apps, multimedia, and data. A wise feature of the cloud is that when it detects data or apps that are no longer in use, it will deliberately delete them from the phone knowing that they are already stored in the cloud.  The removal procedure won’t involve internet connection, but to get back the data you would need a working internet connection.

The cloud will manage the data in a way that your phone will never run out of space. The smartphone will be available in Mint and Midblack color options. Definitely it is good device to buy so try not to miss the chance.
