Nokia’s flagship might sail out soon as the Nokia 8

HMD Global got the license for manufacturing Nokia smartphones of the current gen tech. Nokia 6 has already been a huge success with over 250,000 pre-orders on the first day of its flash sale today. HMD announced its behemoth of a phone recently, enter the new Nokia 8. Alleged to be launched next month, the new device packs some sweet hardware and equally impressive features. Nokia is back in the game at last, making 2017 a year to look forward to.

The device is seen in 2 videos on the YouTube channel Total Tech and here are the few things that we got from it.

Nokia 8 will have 2 variants, The higher-end version will be packing the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset with 6GB RAM and rumored to have 64GB/128GB storage. Staying true to its traditions, the device will have Carl Zeiss optics on a 24MP rear camera with latest optical and digital stabilization paired with a 12MP front camera for crisp selfies.

The lower priced version will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset with 4GB RAM. Other details are not yet known.

At a glance, no buttons are visible on the front and the basic framework of the phone is similar to that of the Nokia 6.
