NUCLUN Octa-core chipset powered LG G3 Screen goes official

LG has now officially announced the phablet with G3 Screen. It has been designed for the Korean market only. It is said the handset has LG's first application processor with code name and dubbed NUCLUN.

The newly developed and brand new chipset is characterizes as ARM big and this LITTLE technology has been developed for multitasking with proficiency and speed. It has octa-core setup which has been arranged at two levels; four out of eight are 1.5GHz ARM Cortex A-15 cores for ultra performance computing tasks and the other four of 1.2GHz ARM Cortex-A7 are dedicated for lighter and less demanding tasks.

This new system on chip developed by LG has the ability of LTE-A connectivity supporting 225Mbps downloading speed. LG has planned to utilize its own developed in-house innovation for developing more products with this capable and efficient system on chip.

We are already well acquainted with this name and it suggests the same features and design language of LG G3 Screen as the LG G3 that we already have the knowledge of. The new device is slightly different from the previous in size of the screen. It has larger 5.9" size screen having 1080p IPS display.

The other details about the specs are rather the same and known to users because of the previous device. The spec sheet includes 2GB of RAM which is quite powerful while the onboard internal memory is 32GB which is expandable with the help of microSD card. It is also in possession of 13MP camera with OIS+ as main camera located at the rear while 2.1MP front-facing also exists for the selfies and video calling. The source of power for this device is a 3,000mAh battery. The device runs Android 4.4 KitKat operating system.

The physical dimensions of LG G3 are 157.8x 81.8x 9.5mm, while it weighs 182 grams. The available colors for this device are black or white.
