Report: Xiaomi Mi 5 First Flash Sale Surpass 4 Million Units

Xiaomi Mi 5 has become great device among Chinese users. On Wednesday the company started first flash sale of the device in China, the company claims that 17 million people showed interest in the device. As per a recent report Xiaomi sold nearly 4 million units of the device on first day of the sale. After awesome response the company ordered its manufacturing partner to accelerate the production.

Xiaomi unveiled Xiaomi Mi 5 last month at MWC 2016. The device offers brilliant upgrades such as it features a 5.15 inch IPS LCD screen and 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. The dual SIM device is powered by Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820.  The Xiaomi Mi 5 comes in three editions like Standard edition, high-end edition, and Pro edition. The Pro version comes with 128 GB storage, 4 GB of RAM and other editions comes with 32/64 GB internal storage and 3 GB RAM.

It has a 16MP rear camera with flash, dual LED, dual tone and plenty of other features. It has a 4MP front facing camera and supports fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, barometer sensors. It comes with Quick Charge 3.0 and Non-removable Li-Po 3000 mAh battery. The mobile is available in Black, White, Ceramic and Gold color options.

According to Gizmochina report, Xiaomi manufactured over 4 million units of the device and all units were available for sale on Wednesday. Another report says that the company was unable to meet demand of customers so it asked its contactors to increase production.

 

Second flash sale of the device will start on March 8 so people who missed a chance to buy the Xiaomi Mi 5 they can buy the device. The second flash sale will be an open sale and there is great news for Indians Xiaomi Mi 5 will hit Indian market next month.
