Rumor: LeEco Smartphone with Snapdragon 830 is coming this Month

As per new render out of China, Chinese company LeEco (previously known as LeTV) is preparing to launch a smartphone this month. It is worth mentioning that the device will be powered by Snapdragon 823, probably it would be the world’s first handset to use Qualcomm’s new chip.

In Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 Kryo CPU will club with higher CPU. According to the speculation, the smartphone will be unveiled during Mobile World Congress (Shingai) which will held on June 29 and continue for 3 days. Two days ago we were informed that LeEco will launch its Le Max 2 smartphone with 6GB RAM on June 8 and the device is already up for pre-orders. 


In case if you missed, let’s recall specifications of the smartphone, the Le Max 2 packs 5.7 inch screen LTPS IPS LCD screen with 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution. The device is powered by Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820, clubbed at Dual-core 2.15 GHz Kryo & dual-core 1.6 GHz Kryo, and coupled with Adreno 530. The dual-SIM Le Max 2 runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The Le Max 2 comes in two variants one posses 4 GB RAM with 32/64 GB internal storage and the second one has 6GB RAM with 64 GB native storage.It sports 21MP rear camera and 8MP front camera with advanced features. It supports fingerprint scanner, quick charging, 3100 mAh battery and it comes in Gray and Silver color options.


We expect that forthcoming smartphone will have enriched features and specifications as compare to last models. Currently its price and availability information is vague, which will be revealed at the time of its launch.
