Samsung Faces Galaxy Note 7 Supply Constraints

Lately launched Galaxy Note 7 causing sudden changes in demand and the device is reasoning supply constrictions worldwide. The phablet went on sale on 19 August in South Korea and United states for $882. Samsung claims strong initial demand for the latest phablet. The high demand could help company to earn high profits, if Samsung doesn’t boost its supply chain it can lose potential sales.

In September, Apple will release its next generation iPhone so Galaxy Note 7 supply constraints can push customers away from Samsung. In conversation with international news agency Reuters, Samsung told that, “As pre-order results for the Galaxy Note 7 have far exceeded our estimates, its release date in some markets has been adjusted”.


Last year manufacture issues for the Galaxy S6 Edge smartphone resulted in disappointing for many customers. Thus, various sponsors fear to invest if Samsung won’t move quickly to meet Galaxy Note 7 demands just like Galaxy S6 Edge. The Korean Conglomerate says it is trying to increase production at the furtive locations where the Galaxy Notes are prepared, and aims to meet demand "as early as possible".


A knowledge person told that there is no shortage problem with Galaxy Note 7 curved displays so the company will fulfill the demand soon.  Last year company sold 5 million units of Galaxy Note 5 and the company could sell 15 million units of latest phablet said by, Nomura analyst C.W. Chung.


 

There could be temporary issues with the production but the company expects to maintain good sales in second half of the year as well
