After launching flagship Galaxy S7 now Samsung is working on its upcoming C series, which includes mid-range devices. According to a report Samsung could launch Galaxy C5 in forthcoming months with 5.2 inch panel, processor Snapdragon 617 and full metal body. You can find a picture below which shows design of the device, the design resembles other mid-range devices by the company but the mobile’s body will be made up of metal.
Today another report gave information about the device that the Galaxy C series will come in metal body so in the new C series we won’t see a mid-range device in plastic body. According to the Sammobile China, the upcoming smartphone C5 or SM-C5000 will support 5.2 inch display, it will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 617 processor. The mobile will have a 4GB of RAM and it will run latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Meanwhile it is expected that Galaxy C7 will also be launched with Galaxy C5, the Galaxy C5 will have slightly bigger display like 5.5 inch screen with 720p resolution and it will be powered by the same Snapdragon 617 processor and Adreno 405 GPU. The Galaxy C7 will have a 4GB of RAM, up to 32GB of native storage. To keep the device on a 3,250 mAh battery will be equipped in the mobile and it will run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box.
It is also expected that Samsung will use its home made Exynos 7870 octa-core chip in Galaxy C5 and Galaxy C7 smartphones. Firstly both devices will be launched in the China but it is not known yet when these device will hit Europe and other regions.
