Samsung Galaxy J2 (2016) Spotted on Benchmarking Website Reveals Listings

A report coming from Korea informs us that new series of Samsung Galaxy J popped on a benchmarking website. According to MyDrivers.com website, the smartphone spotted on AnTuTu and exposes its specifications.

According to revealed specifications, the Galaxy J2 (2016) features a 5-inch HD display with 1280 x 720 Pixels resolution. The mobile number comes with SM-J210 model number and it will be powered by Spreadtrum SC8830 chipset with 1.5 GHz quad-core processor. There is a 8MP primary camera on the backside of the device and a 5MP front facing camera. It has a 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage and the mobile runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box.


The Spreadtrum SC8830 processor only supports 2G and 3G networks instead of 4G LTE. Therefore, the Galaxy J2 (2016) is expected to be released first in rising markets, such as China and India. Moreover, the mobile was also dotted on a GeekBench and secured 404 points in the test in single core and 1274 points in the test multi-core. The smartphone also appeared on Zauba website-the import and export website in India. The mobile carries US$103.54 or INR 6,868 price tag.


As for specifications of Galaxy J2 2015, the mobile packs a 4.7 inches 540 x 960 pixels resolution. The mobile is powered by Exynos 3475 Quad, CPU Quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A7, and GPU Mali-T720. It has 1 GB RAM 8 GB internal memory which can be enhanced up to 128GB. In the camera section there is a 5 MP camera on the back side of the device with  f/2.2, LED flash, autofocus, check quality, touch focus, Geo-tagging and face detection feature. The primary camera can record 720p@30fps videos and there is also a 2MP f/2.2 selfie snapper.


The Galaxy J2 (2016) supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth v4.1, A2DP, GPS and various other connectivities. There is a 2000 mAh removable battery which keeps the mobile on. The mobile is available in Black,White, and Gold color options. The budget handset Galaxy J2 (2016) will have so many advanced features as compare to its predecessor.
