Samsung always keep their handsets updated with the latest version of operating system and usually these software updates are available for whole line of smartphones which run the previous version of operating system but this time Samsung changed the operating system updates trend and selected some specific devices for updates and according to the company these devices will receive the operating system updates soon when the updates are available.
The line of Galaxy Phones has already been updated with Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and the users are waiting to get the latest Android Marshmallow updates but this time the South Korean giant Samsung selects some particular devices for the updates and the devices are; Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S5. Google already confirmed their plan and according to that the latest version of Android operating system Marshmallow will be released on 29th September with new Nexus smartphones.
The new Android Marshmallow comes with Doze Mode which is the battery features allowing the users application which are neccesary to save the battery. furthermore, the operating system has the fingerprint reader ability supporting the Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S5.
the latest operating system also comes with automatic application data backup option which will provide the users a complete backup for their games, files and recent task automatically.
The Android 5.1.1 update for Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge is already available in the USA and the selected carrier companies such as, US Cellular, T-Mobile already provide the updates to their consumers. On the other hand, the AT&T and Sprint users are stuck on Android 5.0 operating system and still waiting for the 5.1 updates.
Well, in that case, the AT&T and Sprint users need to wait more for getting the Android Marshmallow Updates.
