Samsung Galaxy Note 7 unveiled, Resembles to Galaxy S7 EDGE, Iris Scanner Exclusive Feature

Finally the most awaited device Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has unveiled, the latest flagship is a first waterproof phablet in Note series. The smartphone is wrapped in metal frame with Blue Coral, Onyx Black, and Silver Titanium colors. The Galaxy Note 7 equips a 5.7 inch Super AMOLED screen with curved edges; it is a first smartphone to feature HDR support, the attribute is borrowed from 4K TVs that permits the screen to exhibit more colors with high contrast. 

The Galaxy Note 7 is powered by Samsung chip Exynos 8890 or Snapdragon 820 chipset with 4GB of RAM and 64GB native storage with MicroSD slot support. Rumors suggested that the phablet will be available in 128GB variant as well, but there is no official information about it yet.

The Note 7 comes with an enhanced security option iris scanner; the scanner is safer as compared to fingerprint sensor. Soon the iris scanner will replace the fingerprint reader to secure Knox, Samsung Pay, and personal files. The Note 7 also supports fingerprint reader so choose your preferable scanner to unlock your device. As we heard in rumors, the Stylus Pen gives a ballpoint pen experience, you can write with an S pen under water and always on screen. Some other features include a translate tool, text magnifying glass, and a GIF creator.

As for camera sensor concerned, the smartphone owns 12MP dual pixel rear camera with OIS and bright f/1.7 aperture. On the front side, there is a 5MP selfie camera both sensors are borrowed from the Galaxy S7. The Galaxy Note 7 supports USB Type-C, quick, wireless charging option, On the Go charging, and 3,500 mAh battery which is smaller than the Galaxy S7 Edge battery.

The device runs Android Marshmallow out of the box upgradable to Galaxy Note 7 which isn’t released yet. As we heard in rumors that the smartphone will be available for preorder right away, the gossip turned to be a true preorder will start on August 3 and the official sale in the US will start on August 19.  The smartphone will be offered by all major carriers in the US. Unfortunately the Note 7 preorders are not bundled with free Gear VR. However, for a limited time you can get 256GB MicroSD card and Gear Fit 2 smart band.
