Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Olympic Edition is Up for Pre-Order in Germany

A couple of weeks ago we reported that Samsung is about to launch Galaxy S7 Edge Olympic Edition after Galaxy S7 Edge Injustice Edition. Finally the wait is over, the Korean Giant Samsung launched Galaxy S7 Edge Olympic Edition is Brazil to rejoice the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. The company announced that the smartphone will be up for sale on 18 July, and now the device is available for pre-order in Germany with €880 (approximately USD $972) price tag.

The Galaxy S7 Edge Olympic Edition will be in a textured limited edition box which will be stamped with an individual identification number. The smartphone will be available in only selected countries such as China, US, Korea, Brazil, and Germany. The Olympics ceremony will start in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on August 5 and the Samsung is a major sponsor of the Olympics. The company has declared that it will debut 12,500 units of Galaxy S7 Edge Olympics Limited Editions alongside Gear IconX to all Rio 2016 Olympians.

Despite of the few changes, the Galaxy S7 Edge Olympic Edition and the standard model both are same in terms of specifications, like Galaxy S7 Edge the Olympic Edition also features a 5.5inch screen, hybrid dual slot, waterproof, has a 12MP rear camera and 5MP front camera with so many features.

The device comes in five colors of the Olympic Rings; it has red and green accents on the sides, yellow accents on the front, and blue on the back side. Furthermore, you can find these colors on the Smartphone’s lock & home screen, contacts, message, and notification bar.  The Galaxy S7 Edge Olympic Edition comes with pre-installed Rio 2016 app and themed wallpapers.
