LG is not the pioneer in the field of Android Wear smartwatch; Samsung also did the same by introducing Samsung Gear Live smartwatch during the Google I/O, running Google’s new wearable operating system. The both wearables are similar to each other but there is a major difference in the price of both. Samsung fix 199USD for the Gear Live.
The Samsung Gear Live has a similar look like a Gear Neo, but there is no operating button found in Gear Live. The buttons are located in the side of the smart watch. According to the specifications Gear Live is smaller than the Gear Neo measuring 37.9 x 56.4 x 8.9 mm and 59g.
The smart watch is equipped with 1.63-inches AMOLED display, 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 system on chip. 512MB RAM and 4 GB in built memory. The smartwatch is powered with 30 mAh battery and has an IP67 certified means the smart watch has a dust and water proofing with heart rate monitor, usual accelerometer, gyroscope and compass.
Overall Gear Live duplicates Gear Neo in designed but with a faster processor and Android Wear instead of Tizen. The Gear Live has two colors; black and wine red. The smartwatch is available for pre order from today via Google Play in the cost of 199USD.
