Sony first big display tablet will appear soon in 2015 with the expected price of $1000

Yesterday the report was published that Sony has a plan to join Apple and follows the same trend and might launch tablet with the large display somewhere in 2015. The same report says that Sony will start producing the large tablet in a massive quantity and the tablets will make the public availability in first quarter of 2015. We already heard many rumors about Apple’s large 12 inches iPad Pro tablet but still we don’t have any confirmation about Apple device. iPad Pro is likely to go in to production process by 2nd quarter of next year and would be as thin as Apple iPhone 6 but with extra speakers.

Sony

Sony big display tablet is predicted to have 12.9 inches large display having 3840x 2400 pixels resolution and powered with Snapdragon processor. It is also expected that the device has 8 mega pixel camera and it measures 8.6mm. The estimated cost of this phablet is more than $1000 and this is one of the costliest tablets of Sony if rumors become true.

Sony is going to outsource the production of this large size display and Pegatron is going to be involved in this process. This company is already producing the tablets for Apple and Microsoft; Apple iPad and Microsoft Surface tablets.

Contract manufacturer Pegatron, whose assembly lines are already producing Apple iPad and Microsoft Surface tablets, is rumored to be involved in the production of Sony's large screen slate.
