Presently you cannot have a choice to buy a 12-inch tablet other than the two available; Samsung’s Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 and Microsoft’s Surface Pro 3. They are both good devices and they rule the market. However seeing the market, Sony is also jumping in and preparing a 12 inches tablet in competition of the two existing ones. This may happen soon in the coming months.
According to a news source, Sony is thinking of and working hard to launch its 12-inch tablet in the first quarter of 2015. We expect the tablet will be a high profile configuration and will come with high-end features and a dedicated stylus as the Surface Pro 3 and the Note 12.2 have. This Sony tablet is expected to be in a slim size and will be having a quality of water resistance like the other members of the Xperia series. It is doubtful if the 12-inch Sony slate is actually a reality because many rumors always do not prove true. According to the same rumor source, many other companies whose names are not given are also busy in making and getting ready to launch extra-large tablets in the start of the next year. Apple is also expected to launch one such device. It is believed that Apple is preparing and developing a 12.9-inch iPad Pro. If other companies are getting read with big devices, Sony would not remain behind in this race and would definitely launch 12-inch Xperia tablet.
