Xiaomi Announced Redmi Note 3 with Snapdragon 650 in China

 

Xiaomi announced Redmi Note 3 back in November; it is the first smartphone in Xiaomi portfolio, which comes with a fingerprint scanner and full metal body. Today, Xiaomi announced variant of the mobile with various changes.

 


The now model which is announced today differs in two ways, One, it replaces the MediaTek Helio X10 chipset with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 with a 64-bit 1.8GHz hexa-core CPU, Adreno 510 GPU, integrated X8 LTE with Cat 7 speeds and support for VoLTE. The mobile will work on all mobile carriers in China and it supports 4G+ network and other connectivity options. The second change is company the device switched from a 13 megapixel camera on the back to 16 megapixels, which comes with f2.0 aperture and phase detection autofocus feature.


Other all specifications will remain the same; the device features a 5.5-inch 1080p display. 16GB model of the device comes with 2GB RAM and a 32GB model comes with 3GB RAM. The device is equipped with a 4,050mAh battery. When it comes to the price both models have different price which depends on memory and RAM. 16GB model will be available in RMB 999 ($151), whereas price of the 32GB model is not announced yet.

 

Indians be ready because the device is landing in the Indian market soon. Availability and pricing information for India market is not available yet. In India, Xiaomi has started Redmi Note 3 Explorer challenge, according to the challenge where 100 chosen Mi fans will get the phone if they complete the 100 missions.
